Galahad’s Quest Makes It Four In A Row

Galahad’s Quest returned to Goulburn on 8 October to make it four in a row from his four starts this prep for the Joe Pride trained gelding, in an incredible transformation from his 3yo season to his 4yo season. Jason Collett took over the reins from the injured Chad Lever, who had ridden him his previous three starts, and produced a measured ride to get him over the line. After being back early in the field that had been reduced to four horses by the time they jumped, Jason brought Galahad’s Quest into the race with a well timed run to score another narrow, but convincing win.

As that was his third win in a row at the track, all this season, the Goulburn committeemen joked that they may as well start inscribing the 2019/20 Horse Of The Year trophy as Galahad’s Quest would be hard to catch. We will have to see how that one plays out!
